in between

In between phone calls, a million client emails, tens of thousands hours of editing, car pool, ballet, spots, piano, photo shoots, cleaning and more cleaning, baking, encouraging, serving, birthdays, Thanksgiving, and a million other things, I managed to squeeze in some playing time. If you can't tell, I am hanging by a string!  I am spread pretty thin, a lot of things get thrown to the way side, some things that should not be.  Hannah's birthday landed on Thanksgiving this year and it was hard to make a feast and celebrate her birthday the way we wanted too.  I still have to edit those pictures, but thought that this would do for now.  Her big present this year was to go to the American Girl store and pick out a doll!  I have to admit that this has been a dream of mine too!  We were able to go with some friends, which made it even sweeter!  The girls excitedly picked out their dolls (laughing, talking, squealing and jumping up and down)  and then we had a birthday party at the American Girl Cafe (more of the same...not sure if the adults were more excited?!)!  Everything was perfect.  I can't even explain all the happiness that was their.  The details, the pink, the mini cups for the dolls, the food, the cake, the goodie bags.  Totally worth every smile! We will remember this forever!
Hannah got Julie.  She carries her around everywhere.  Consistently brushing her hair and changing her clothes.  :) Love this girl!!

Some how I have the most amazing friends.  I don't know what I would do without them.  Love this picture of us.

back

We are home and just starting to get in the swing of things again.  Man, let me tell you, it has been hard!  We came back to cold winds and cool temps.  I thought my warm beach memories would help me though the winter, but looks like it might make it worse!  I am still sifting thought thousands of pics from our vacation, so for now this is what we are up to!  New hats, coats and gloves and enjoying the last few blades of green grass!

birthday boy

We were lucky enough to celebrate Porters birthday at Disney World.  It was a pretty darn happy day!  I know that I have said this way too much, but he has just grown way to fast. Its like just yesterday he was born, but feels like he as always been in our family.  What a happy, entertaining boy he is.  I am feeling pretty lucky to have him.  Love you bud!!
