la, la, la, my table is done!!!

This was QUITE the project!! I should not have taken it on by myself! Who knew stain would be SO dang hard!! I had to re-sand, twice!! Grr! I finally finished it and just love the result!  I could not be happier!  I can't stop staring at it! It's beautiful, if I do say so myself. :)

Why do they grow so fast?

My two older kids and hubby are gone this week to the Boundary Waters.  Porter and I decided to stay home. {wink, wink} We have had fun spending some one on one time with each other.  I think that it is just what he needed.  We have been spending our days reading books, playing games on my phone, jumping on the tramp, going out to eat, and snuggling while watching TV.  He has the warmest smile and happiest giggles.  Not to mention, he is one handsome little man.  I love him.  I always tell my kids to never grow up.  They always just say, "but mom we have too!"  He stills says "okay, mommy." I need him, so glad I have him.

Busy Summer

We have had a really crazy summer, but we have had lots of fun: traveling, seeing family, playing with friends, swimming, crafting, baseball. gymnastics, photo shoots, ect!  I have had a hard time keeping up with everything, to say the least.  I feel like posting today but noticed that I have not edited many pictures of my just everyday stuff. So I quickly edit these from a few nights ago.  The light is so pretty right around bed time.  ;)

I have been going though over 1000 pictures from my trip to Idaho!  I can't wait to get started!
