Christmas Miracle!!

Ladies and Gentlemen.....
It has happened!!! Drum Roll please!!!
drrrrrrr drrrrrrr drrrrrr
I got a
NEW BEAUTIFUL DSLR CAMERA!!!
"applause"
Some times I kill myself!!

Yes, it really is a HUGE Christmas Miracle! Here is the story.
....
My (wonderful) hubby and I had been talking (me begging) about getting a DSLR camera for the past few months. (Ever since I fell in LOVE with my father-in-law's and my mother's camera.) I have been drooling over the cameras in Best Buy and Circuit City. My poor husband would just stand and smile at me as I pointed out every awesome feature of the D60, D80, and D90. Then he would carefully let me down easy by saying " We will just have to see what Christmas brings." In other words, "don't hold your breath!"
So Christmas Eve rolled around and I noticed that I only had ONE present under the tree, now mind you.....my dear husband has been VERY busy at work and I kne
w that he really did not have time to shop for me. So I was just a little sad as I went to bed that night. The next morning with all the excitement with the kids looking at what Santa delivered, Kurtis silently pointed to my stocking and told me to look inside......I was a little taken back because I knew that I never saw him put anything in there besides the yummy chocolate that I bought for him to put in my stocking. Inside was a little package. I opened it up and inside it told me to open my present under the tree.
I opened it up and guess what I saw........

A brand new Nikon D60!! It was the most beautiful thing I ever saw!!! I was in shock and just broke into tears!
I just love my sweet husband!! He is too good to me!!
THANK YOU HONEY!!!

Here is one of the first pictures I took!
Look out, there may be A LOT more to come!!!!

Thank You!

We just wanted to say THANK YOU to all of you out there that sent us cards and pictures! We feel so thankful for such wonderful friends and family that take the time to write, take pictures, buy the stamps, and send them out! I know that it is a TON of work and money. So again, THANK YOU!! Also THANK YOU to all of those who gave our family gifts and yummy treats! It made the Christmas Holiday really fun for us and our kids.
And last but not least, THANK YOU to all of you who have supported and cared for our family this past year. We have had a CRAZY year and we would have not lived thought it without all of your phone calls, emails, and cards and hugs. We love and appreciate all of you!!

What's all this white stuff??

We had our first snow......I know it was a while ago, but I just barely got around to editing these! I just could not pass up posting these! The weather was so nice and the light was just perfect! I loved the way that the leaf picture turned out. I still have a TON to learn about editing, but I am having so much fun playing with each picture!
We took a fun walk looking at all the beautiful snow. I thought that the kids looked so cute trying to keep up with Kurtis!

You know how it takes 15 minuets to get the kids "snow ready"? Well we did the whole process, including digging out all of the snow clothes among the millions of boxes stored in our laundry room. The point to this whole story is that once we got out there Hannah started shedding all of her snow clothes. I finally convinced her to leave on her snow paints. So no, I did not neglect to dress her "snow ready"!

Caleb and Kurtis where injoying the "boy" snow activies by thowing snowballs into the small pond that had a thin layer of ice on top!

Yeah Me!!

Lately I have been running at the gym. Just around the track. I have never been a runner (maybe because i don't like to fill all the jiggling, if you know what I mean!!) Anyway....it all began about a week ago when thought that it might be fun to walk around the track instead of doing the same-o-same-o. It was fun, but I did not feel any pain....which i need to feel good, I know it sounds weird! SO I decided that maybe I should just TRY running around maybe once. The first time i thought that may fall down and die, but each time around it got better. I could run about a 1/2 mile and that was my limit. But today I really pushed myself and did ONE MILE!!! I was so happy that I had some tears in my eyes...at least I think it was happiness and not PAIN! I immediately called Kurtis at work to tell him the great news. We of course celebrated (me mostly) and then when the high was over....I really felt it! SO I will keep you up to date, hopefully it will get easier and I can whip out more miles as the MONTHS go on! Thanks to all of you out there who are silently celebrating with me!

What's a party without cake & presants?!

Hannah LOVED all of her presents (of course they all had something to do with princesses, Dora, and "mommy things"!! She was in 3 year old heaven!

What, you are suprized that we had a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting with princesses on top?! If you know Hannah, you know that she LOVES chocolate (or ANYTHING with sugar in it) quote: " Mom, I R -E- A- L- L- Y need some sugar right now!"
" Mom, does broccoli have sugar in it?"
And yes, she LOVES princesses.....hummmm.... I wonder what she likes more?

Hannah's Party!

Janae even had fun going on the rides!! Thanks Janae for taking the kids on those swirly, twirly, Hot Air Balloons!

Caleb was on the Bumper Cars most of the party! He just loved them, like any little 5 year old would!

Cousins! They had so much fun together!!

I know, I know, I am a little late in posting this, but hay, it could be worse!! So here we go.....We celebrated her birthday at a little inside amusement park. They only had about 5 rides, but they were all for little kids, so it worked out great! We invited our cute family to join us! Thanks to all our aunts, uncles, and cousins that could make it!! Also Hannah was very thankful for the abundant bounty of presents she received! Thanks!!

Awesome new phone!!!

My phone was so dumb! If any of you have tried to call me within the past month you know what I am talking about! It always said "call failed" when I tried to call, or it would never ring....just sit there in silence.... I HATED it!!! Lets just say I did not say very nice things about it, and now I am hearing those words coming out of my kids mouths! Oops! (I did try to control myself but it was very difficult!)
SO FINALLY I GOT A NEW PHONE, and it is BEAUTIFUL!!! I know that it is not a blackberry, an Iphone, ect. but it is just right for me!
COoL FeaTurEs.....
- you can put all your music on it (While waiting in the very long Walmart return line on Saturday i wiped out my earphones and turned on some Carrie Underwood!)
-You can pick any of those songs for your ring tone...mine is Love Story by Taylor Swift (so if i don't answer for a few rings you will know why!)
-You can put movies on it (yes, I know all my movies are kid ones.....but can't you just see the joy in grocery shopping now!!!)
-And .... Drum Roll please! The phone is ....... FREE!!!
It is a Nokia Xpress Music phone from T-moble
Colors to choose from: purple (mine), orange, & red

This is my totally AWESOME Mrs. Clause tutu dress! I am charging $35.00 for the whole thing, just send me the measurements (chest and length desired)
I had a lady ask if I could make it in adult size! So really, don't be ashamed to ask the burning question, I am sure your husband would LOVE it!! ;)

Craft Fair!!

So here are some pictures from the craft fair! I had a ton of fun looking and all the great stuff that was there and hangin' out with my sister-in-law! We also had lots of visitors come see us, thanks guys for the help!! My father-in-law made the frames that are hanging in the center. They are beautiful! He has a few left over, so if any of you are looking for a great Christmas gift for a friend or family member, these would be perfect! The shirts and blanket are made by my VERY talented sister-in-law! She has a few left over, so if you have any interest in these let me know!
And finally, the bows, tutus, hats, booties, and wipe cases are made by.......ME! Yes, yes, I will wait for the applause.......none.....okay....well I do have some, no I mean A TON left over so I will be posting some stuff for sale later.
Over all the craft fair was a big success and I could not have done it without my wonderful friends and family!

One of those days!

This is just about how I feel! Why you may ask.....well, I just got done with a 3 day craft fair and BOY am I tired! It was very fun to be with my sister-in-law, Chiristi for those 3 days, we had many conversations that ended up with lots of laughter! I will post some pictures of our booth when tomorrow! I have tons of stuff left over....so I will be posting up some things to sell.
I thought that this picture of Hannah was so funny! I did her hair the other day like this and then told her to look in the mirror. Lets just say I am glad that I had my camera ready!!

Girls will be girls!

Bethany came to play with Hannah the other day and they had so much fun together! They did everything girly! I took them to the dollar store and we got these "clip clop" shoes for them! I thought it was so funny to watch them go down all of our front steps!

I also got them these My Little Pony coloring books which they colored for at least 45 min!! Notice how cute Bethany's hair is! I had so much fun doing hair that actually had some fullness to it, not to mention it was nice and long!!! Sorry about the blury picture! But you get the point!

This video is so funny! Get use to it girls, high hills are SO fun! ;)
