The sun was finally shining! Oh how i want spring to come! As sad has it sounds, I have a feeling that the snow is going to stick around for a little while though. But we are trying to make the best of it. The kids LOVE it, so can't complain too much...no wait, i do!! Snow, snow go away!!

To hang:

I used two sided tape. Not sure the brand...but I got it at Target for about $4. It said that it could hold up to 5 lbs. (could not find picture) I also looked at getting these Command picture hanging strips.

So, here is the pictures that I finally decided on. (remember that post ages ago? When I could not decide on color or b&w?)
They are a perfect addition to our room! The size of the pictures are 16x20, could have gone bigger, but still like the way they turned out.

So instead of buying a costly frame, I decided to try this way. (thanks mom for the great idea!) Can you tell that they are glued to a foam board??!! Yes, they are and I did it for $6 a piece!! Now you can NOT beat that price!!!!

Here is how to do it!!

Step 1: Print out your picture. If you want it fast and cheep go to Sam's. I printed these beauties for $5 something. For a higher quality for a little more $$$ go to MPix.

Step 2: Place your picture on your foam board. Mark the corners so that you know where to cut.

Step 3: Use your ruler make a straight cut with your exacto knife.

Step 4: Spray your glue on to the foam piece that you just cut and place your picture on top, starting at one end and rolling in on as straight as possible.

And you are done!!! Give your self a pat on the back!!!
It really WAS that easy!

I ♥ faces - Hands-on fun - week 8

This was a very complicated shoot...I had this vision in my mind of me holding up Porter...like you see here. Well, in my mind it was MUCH easier! My sweet little Hannah had to hold my ginormous camera to my eye and push the shutter button all at the same time. Her poor little twig arms could hardly hold it up! This was by far the best shot we got and I know that it is not at all perfect and looks a little blurry. But I love it anyways!

cold table

Picture day for Porter...needless to say, did not go the greatest, but hay, I made it work!

I put him on our table to take these naked ones and he did not like it one bit! I think that it was really cold, and if you know Porter, from day one he hates to be cold!

Porter is getting bigger and more smiley AND has each one of is wrapped around his tiny finger! I have yet to get a great picture of him smiling, but will for sure get one soon. We just love our new little brother and love that he has joined our family. I don't know what we ever did with out him. Enjoy these sweet pictures of our little man!

Even though...

..we live in the land of freezing temperatures and every breath results in ice covered lungs...brr! Now where was I?!! Oh yeah... Minnesota CAN be a very beautiful place despite the cold. I took these pictures the other day when we were covered in a blanket of fog and snow. They turned out just gorgeous. I am going to to hang 8 of these up in my basement over our couch. I can't wait to see how awesome it looks.

P.S. I found out a great CHEEP way to print large pictures and mount them all for under 10 bucks!! Now you can't beat that!

"Mom, are you tired of being over weight?"
Me: "uh..."
Caleb: "Because on TV they have all these special pills that will help you loose 30 pounds in two weeks!!"

Got to love TV weight loss commercials!!! If only there were a magic pill.

An awesome friend of mine came over for a quick photo shoot the other day, and boy did we have a blast!! This sweet little chunk was so good and SO smiley! I could of snapped pictures of her all day! Porter and Elizabeth were born 2 days apart and became instant friends in the hospital! But I have yet to take any pictures of them together!!

Miss C. was just so tiny, but not very sleepy! I did manage to get some shoots of her sleeping, which was good. I can't wait to do another session with this little one and her 14 month older brother!
