Last month we celebrated Kurtis's moms birthday. She passed away two years ago and it has become a fun tradition to send her balloons on her birthday. We all write a special note on our balloon and send it to heaven. My kids just love the thought that they get to send grandma a special message just from them. It is also a great way to remember her.

And I thought he looked exactly like his dad!? WOW, he and his mom look SOOOOOO much alike! She looks like she was such a sweet person, that must have been really hard for you both. Sending up balloons is such a sweet memorial! We do that for my little twin nieces who died a few years ago. It's healing.
