Yes, that is our stove, and yes that is melted plastic. Poor popcorn bowl.
Have you ever had 3 minuets to clean your house before someone comes over? Have you ever been so desperate to get your dishes out of the sink that you put them in your oven..... and then FORGET that they are in there? Well that is exactly what I did. Now whenever I turn on my oven it smells of melted plastic.

On a higher note..... Kurtis and I celebrated our 9th anniversary! We had a great night, we ate out at 300 and 1st. Yummy! We also decided to buy bikes for each other. Ever since we bought them we have been on some really fun family bike rides! Our kids love it!

Did I take that picture? It's BEAUTIFUL!! Good times. Congrats on the anniversary. Bikes for each other is a great idea.
Too bad about the bowl. I just shove all my dirty dishes in the laundry room, oven or just pile them in the dish washer.
I did recently melt a water jug lid in the dish washer, it fell onto the element and smoke was rising out of the dishwasher. We've either gotten used to the re-curring smell or it doesn't smell anymore. Burn plastic is NASTY.
Yes, you did take it! You are a natural! Also, glad to hear that I am not the only one to melt my dishes!
