Yeah Me!!

Lately I have been running at the gym. Just around the track. I have never been a runner (maybe because i don't like to fill all the jiggling, if you know what I mean!!) Anyway....it all began about a week ago when thought that it might be fun to walk around the track instead of doing the same-o-same-o. It was fun, but I did not feel any pain....which i need to feel good, I know it sounds weird! SO I decided that maybe I should just TRY running around maybe once. The first time i thought that may fall down and die, but each time around it got better. I could run about a 1/2 mile and that was my limit. But today I really pushed myself and did ONE MILE!!! I was so happy that I had some tears in my eyes...at least I think it was happiness and not PAIN! I immediately called Kurtis at work to tell him the great news. We of course celebrated (me mostly) and then when the high was over....I really felt it! SO I will keep you up to date, hopefully it will get easier and I can whip out more miles as the MONTHS go on! Thanks to all of you out there who are silently celebrating with me!

AWESOME!!!! Definitely *not* a silent celebration...yell it from the rooftops!!! I wish I could run so bad. I've tried and even got up to 3 miles but my body starts falling apart (Achilles tendinitis, bad knees, etc). So don't give up, keep going and then let us know! :)

Great job!! I've started running too. I have a group of friends that I run with on Saturday mornings. It makes it easier to stick to it. I've even started training for a half marathon that will be this summer. Keep it up! You'll feel so good and set a goal or train for an event. It makes it nice to have something to work towards!!

You inspire me. As soon as I read this post, I went out and exercised myself! Now lets see if I can keep it up and do as good as you.
