What is better than raspberries?

A FREE BLACKBERRY that's what!!!!!
I actually won this awesome phone today! Can you believe it? I am never that lucky! I love it, it is just so pretty! Kurtis did have to come home and "play"with it for me. And now it is up to my cell phone standards! (which is not much!) More good news is that Kurtis had lost his phone a few weeks ago and I have been despite to find him a phone. Now this solved all our problems! He now gets my cute purple phone while I get this one! :) How good of a husband do I have?!

Sweeter Than Sugar

Yesterday, I was not feeling the greatest and on top of that my house was a mess from the day before. But what I hate most is dishes piled up in the sink with no room to spare. On Sunday I had baked cookies and cooked a big dinner and dishes were everywhere. So when I woke up to the huge pile of dishes I asked Caleb if he could please unload the dishwasher before school so that I could get he dishes loaded. Then I quickly went up stairs to finish my hair so that I could take him to school and Hannah to ballet. When I came back down, to my surprise he had unloaded the dishwasher AND loaded it back up. My sink was totally dish free. I was so thankful for this small act of kindness and love shown to me by my sweet boy. I love him so much, he is always thinking of ways he can help me and others. Thank you Caleb!! I love you!

Did somebody say "homemade apple doughnuts"?

Last weekend we went to the pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins. It was so fun! I had never been to this place and am very happy that I found it! They have all sorts of things to do, animals, mazes, yummy food, and lots of pumpkins! My kids had a blast!

The classic pumpkin pose

Hannah wanted to make up her own pose. She is such a little princes.

Caleb picked the biggest pumpkin he could find......it is VERY big. I could hardly lift it into the little wagon. Then with my giant prego belly I had to put it into the car. Kurtis was gone for the weekend and had to take the van so we were left with his car. The back was too full of golf clubs so we put the pumpkin in the front seat and buckled it in. When we got home I managed to put it on to the Caleb's skateboard to wheel it to the front step. It was quit the adventure and the kids thought it was "totally awesome!"

So while Caleb was trying to find the biggest Hannah was trying to find the smallest, cutest, roundest, pumpkin. She thought that she was pretty successful. Hannah and her perfect pumpkin.

Hannah trying her little hardest to pull the wagon with Caleb's enormous pumpkin in it!

The kids pumpkins

Hannah really getting into it, Caleb not so much! :)

After we bought our pumpkins you go though this little barn, where they sell some food.....oh, but you can smell "it" the WHOLE time you are outside....yes, homemade APPLE doughnuts! They were absolutely the best thing I ever put in my mouth! Really, they were that good! Yum, I think that I need one right now!

The end.

Projects...

I recovered my old car seat. It was a HUGE project and I had to enlist my very talented friend to help me. Well, she pretty much did the whole thing for me. I think that we broke 9 needles trying to get thought the thick batting. Now, that is a good friend! Thanks a millions Angela!! I LOVE it to pieces!

Close up to the cuteness!

LOVE the fabric on the chairs! I found it at Hancock Fabric at 50% off. It is an outdoor marital, so it should be okay with the kidos. But I am still paranoid!

Here it is!!! I finally finished our table and chairs. It was not too big of a project, but it did take a lot of cans of spray paint. The chairs and the table legs were a dark green. The cushions were a cream, black and green plaid. I wish that I could find a picture of the table before. (I know that I have one somewhere.) I just love the way it turned out. Whenever I look at it, it makes me happy!

I bought new curtains for the sliding glass door to replace the very ugly 80's style vertical blinds. They are just prefect for the kitchen. And yet another look at my awesome table and chairs!

Our cute RED kitchen! I have always wanted to paint my kitchen red. So why not do it when I am 6 months pregnant! The red is more true to the real color in the first picture.

Our family room on the main floor. It is right next to the kitchen, so perfect for the kids to play in while I am cooking, cleaning ect. We also love our fire place. My kids are very excited to have one for Santa to come down.
The man we bought the house from left this huge, very heavy entertainment center in the corner. It is too big for us to move, so there it stays. Although Kurtis has found many things for it. Right now he has a computer that runs our whole TV and movie entertainment. If you ever get the chance to stop by just ask him about it and his eyes will light up! He loves the system!

(You also may be asking what are those hideous vertical blue blinds on the window?! I know, they are very ugly, but Kurtis has band me from buying any more curtains. Most of the windows needed new curtains $$$.)

Viewers BEWARE: Not Pretty

You may ask....What is this? Could it be one of Kurtis's derm projects? I only wish. My feet, legs, hands, face, ect. are so swollen and huge! They are like play dough. You can push on my ankle and it will make a cute little dent, just like this one Hannah made for the picture. Pretty, eh? I am ready to see my bones in my feet, ankles, legs and hands again. My feet just throb and I can only squish them in to one pair of shoes. I am thankful that I am almost done with this pregnancy. It as not been a fun one. BUT on the other hand, the closer I get to my due date the more frightened I become. All of the memories are flooding back to me......ouch.....yuck.....yawn.....come now ladies, you know!!! This is the prettiest that I can put it. Well, wish me luck!

(Mom, this one is for you)

The last day of light....

I know, it is probably not the last day of light, but I always feels that way when November hits. I took these just for fun, no editing, no nothing, in the raw people! I also took a picture of the front of our house. More pictures to come of in the inside and a really fun project that I just finished that looks absolutely amazing! Hopefully I will get them out of the camera and on the computer soon. :)

Hannah had a hold of the camera for a few shots. I thought that this one turned out pretty cool of Caleb.

Hannah took this picture "all by herself!" She thought that it was so funny that dad looked like a giant!

Hannah practicing her Ballet moves.

Loved the sun in this picture! Just can't get enough of it!

Hannah giving a ride to Caleb on her bike.

Our cute house. We love it. Today Hannah said "Mommy, i hope that we never move from our house. I hope I live here forever."

When-O-when??!!

I went to the doctor yesterday and was told that I was dilated to a 2 and 50% effaced!! I was not ready to hear that news!!! And definitely not ready for the baby to come. SO I guess we will see what happens in the next week or so. I think that I have some preparing to do. But if I do not go into labor before Halloween the kids thought that this would be the perfect costume for me. I think that I would be able to make and iron it onto a black shirt....what do you think??!! Oh, the possibilities!
